Seven years for Nuthall armed robbery

Daniel Lawrence has been sentenced to seven and a half years for an armed robbery at the McColl’s convenience store in Ash Crescent. Lawrence, from Broxtowe,  pleaded guilty to robbery and to owning an imitation gun. The robbery took place in January. The shop assistant was made to open the till, but Lawrence dropped his balaclava during the robbery, and it was this that lead to his conviction.. Read more
