New houses in Nuthall - Public exhibition at the Belfry
A public exhibition will be held at the Nottingham Belfry between 2pm and 7pm on Friday, 14th December. The public are invited to attend.
A spokesman for Temple Park Village said: “The proposals for Temple Park are by no means finalised, which is why we’re inviting local residents to comment on the proposals over the coming weeks."
“The event on 14th December is an opportunity for everyone to learn more about the proposal, and to provide their feedback on areas which would most benefit the community."
“These comments will all be taken into consideration ahead of the final planning application being submitted in the new year.” Read more

Oxylane Decathlon development plans submitted
An outline planning application has been submitted by Oxylane for the development of the UK’s first Oxylane Sports Village. The £15m development would see the current Giltbrook Decathlon store move from its current location to the new development off the Eastwood bypass near Nuthall.
Oxylane say that the development will see the creation of as many as 250 jobs and give locals access to a wider range of lifestyle opportunities. However, some local people and councillors have raised concerns about the impact of the development on local town centres and local traffic.. Read more

Kimberley Christmas Lights switch on – 7th December
The
Kimberley Christmas lights ‘switch on’ this year will take place on Friday, 7th December. There
will be a Tealight Parade from Holy Trinity Church, starting at 6.15pm with
Santa's Sleigh. There will be rides, hot
chestnuts, music and stalls (and last year there were even some fireworks!). Parking

700 new homes on the outskirts of Nuthall
Councillor Phillip Owen has said that the scheme to build more than 700 houses and a community centre on the land between the Mornington Crescent estate and the M1 near Junction 26 is a "horrendous prospect for the area".
Councillor Owen said that the proposed village – called Temple Park – would be on "some of the most important greenbelt" that stops Nuthall merging with neighbouring towns and villages.. Read More
